Anna Dokoza is an Australian/American/Croatian television director and producer. Born in Sydney, Australia, Dokoza started her career in the news world (Associated Press TV, ABC News, 60 Minutes Australia) before transitioning into the unscripted world and directing Adventures in Hollywood, Project Runway and Viva La Bam among others. Dokoza made the move to scripted television when she produced Flight of the Concords. With this Emmy-nominated show as her launching pad, Dokoza would go on to produce multiple projects such as John Oliver: Terrifying Times, Bored to Death, Up All Night, Brother in Atlanta, Ali G Rezurection, A to Z, Baskets, Lady Dynamite, Divorxe and Insecure. Most recently she directed the first season SPECIAL and is currently the showrunner and director of Three Busy Debras for Adult Swim. Dokoza resides in Los Angeles, but still considers herself a New Yorker.
