Oregon’s racial history figures into Sunday’s ‘Two Sentence Horror Stories’ on The CW

February 19, 2022

The CW anthology series, “Two Sentence Horror Stories” touches on a shameful aspect of Oregon’s past in the episode that airs this Sunday. In “Heirloom,” a Black widower named Montreal (Romaine Waite) moves with his young daughter to a house that’s apparently located in Oregon.

The woman who helped Montreal find the home tells him that, before her family built a vineyard nearby, they lived in the house. Montreal explains that he’s renting the house because he’s a Black history professor taking a sabbatical to write a book.
