Cynopsis’ inaugural Short Form Video Festival & Conference took place on March 22, 2018. The event honored outstanding work in the field, as well as offered insights and intel during panels with creators and buyers of this emerging format. Stage 13’s INDEPENDENT won 3rd Place on Series Music and SNATCHERS won 2nd place on Series Comedy. TWO SENTENCE HORROR STORIES nabs a total of five awards including the series as best Series Drama and Best Series Stand-Alone Short Form, and recognitions for creator Vera Miao, director JD Dillard, actors Wei-Yi Lin (Ma) and Hannah Barlow (Guilt Trip).
