Warner Bros. Digital Networks has introduced Stage 13, dedicated to showcasing scripted and unscripted short-form series from “a new generation of talent and fresh creative voices.”
Stage 13 has produced 11 series that will start debuting on YouTube, Facebook and Stage13.com this October. Some of the series were recognized at this year’s Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, LAFF, Series Fest and Outfest Film Festivals.
However, Stage 13 shows aren’t exactly new to the web.
In June the brand unveiled an original horror-comedy series, Snatchers, on the free streaming platform go90. Also this October, Stage 13 will debut a five-episode anthology series on go90, Two Sentence Horror Stories. Horror Stories “taps into universal, primal fears of death, abandonment, and loneliness filtered through the anxieties of the most connected and racially diverse generation.” The series was created, written and executive produced by Vera Miao.
