"Imposter"

Taiwanese-Canadian director Jennifer Liao most recently directed “Imposter” for The CW anthology series Two Sentence Horror Stories and Lifetime’s first Asian-American holiday movie, A Sugar & Spice Holiday. She made her feature directorial debut with the supernatural dark comedy End of Days, Inc., and also directed the thriller Grandma Dearest aka. Deranged Granny, starring Wendie Malick and Amanda Righetti, which premiered on Lifetime in the fall. Jennifer previously directed and/or wrote multiple episodes of the Canadian TV crime drama Blood and Water, nominated for Best Drama at the Canadian Screen Awards in 2019. She also produced the feature film Sex After Kids, wrote for the social media storytelling project Crushing It! A Social Media Love Story,  and is an alum of TIFF Writers’ Studio.
