Lastly, we head over to the Philippines to try some intestinally interesting street food.

We’ll join our Foodie Fam for a taste of the delicacies at the famous 626 Market, and learn how night markets grew out of Taiwan and spread to the US. We’ll also hit the streets of Saigon with rapper Suboi as she takes us out late night to introduce us to local “beer food,” and our favorite Crazy Rich Asians tell us about Singaporean Night Markets and what it was like to recreate one for the movie.

And our Foodie Fam gets together for a campfire to share their own family folklores!

We’re heading to the bakery- this episode is all about sweet treats! Comedian Bobby Lee joins us for the Family Style Baked Olympics where it’s East versus West in a head to head dessert battle. Actor Daniel Wu tells us how he traded his Mom’s Chinese snacks for Twinkies and Hohos! And we get a history lesson on how Cambodians are running the donut game in southern California.

It’s time to feast as our foodie fam meets up with actor Parvesh Cheena to discuss the nuances of Indian cuisine and how the “family style meal” is an integral part of his culture. Then we’ll head to the suburbs of LA to the tranquil Hsi Lai Buddhist temple, and the home of the best vegetarian buffet around! Actress Vivian Bang joins us for lunch and learns what makes their preparation process unique. And, later we travel to Beijing to learn the history behind the feast of China’s “Eight Great Dishes”.
